At thy word

Luke 5:5 “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net”.
When God and his word comes to the scene, it does not matter again what was and has been the case. In fact, what didn’t work and the earlier methods used doesn’t matter also. What matters now is the word of instruction or the word of God.

You see, instead of complaining of past failures or things that didn’t work, resort to the word or the instruction God is giving to you.

God’s word can be trusted. His word is sure and tested and proven. Isaiah had this to say about the word of God “…my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).

Simon after toiling all night with no results to show for it, resorted to God’s word and had his miracle.
Take God at his word. Do what the word says even if you don’t feel like and you will see your blessings and the results you wanted come to pass.
