Psalm 46:1 says “O God our God, a very present help in time of trouble”. Also, 2 Samuel 22:36 says “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your help makes me great”.
As a Christian, you must know that, you are not without help. No matter how things will turn or how the tides will change against you, God will help you.
This is why it matters where you want to receive help and from whom you want to receive it.
You see, although help is very important in life, you can miss it or even get into sin and error when you receive help from wrong sources and from the wrong people.
Getting help from the wrong people can put you in a state of unrest instead of rest. Such helps are nothing but prison in disguise.
2 Samuel 22:36 says “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your help makes me great”. You see, God’s help will make you great. It will turn things around for your good. The help of God will also bring rest to your soul.
Nevertheless, don’t lose sight of the fact that, God will also use people he has appointed to help you. Do not throw in the towel, do not give up,neither fret or be anxious for help is on the way.
One song writer, puts it well that “…God is our help in ages past, and our hope for years to come…”
Learn to depend on God for help. He knows how to touch people’s heart to help you.
As you receive this divine help, also learn to help others.
Help! Help!! Help!!!
