Prayer changes things: David

2 Samuel 15:31 says “And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness”.

King David was specially chosen and anointed by God. But his leadership was not exonerated from crises.
He was faced with a conspiracy that threatened to replace him as the Lord’s chosen, but he prayed it out.

The preceding verses in the book of 1 Samuel 15, reveals how Absalom the son of David rose up against his father and also discredited the father’s governance.

Help for the king seems gloomy, as it unfolds that his chief counselor, Ahitophel is on the side of Absalom. Nonetheless, prayer overturned the table. In fact, things changed.

Instances when you feel betrayed and left alone to suffer an ill fate, pray. Prayer will sustain you and bring you to the desired end God planned for you.
Just like David, you will win by prayer.
