Galatians 6:10 says “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
The Christian is made alive in Christ for good works. Thus, the instruction do good is not something the child of God can’t deliver on.
Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Doing good means doing what is morally right. It also means doing something to the benefit or to the advantage someone.
This is the mandate God wants you to walk with every moment of your life. As a Christian, you must never let your actions destroy anyone in the body of Christ. That’s to say that, you must always act in the best interest of people.
In our call to do good, the Bible emphasizes the need for us to do good to people especially in the faith. Meaning that as a Christian, you have an obligation towards your fellow brother and sister in the faith.
Do good no matter what happens or no matter how people treat you.
