Give careful thought to your actions

1 Samuel 2:3
“Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.”

It is always important to consider your actions and inactions. In giving careful thought to your actions, you must always think before you do something.

You see, every action of yours will reveal a choice you have made, and with it shall come consequences you may have little control over.

This is why you must ensure that your actions and inactions are motivated by God’s word. You will avoid unfortunate circumstances or tragedies in life if you use the word as the standard for what you do in life.

Don’t be a kind of person who does things without any consideration or whatsoever. People who swing into action the moment any thought gets into their mind are headed towards destruction.
Always remember the word in Proverbs 16:25 that says “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”.

Let your heart and mind stay on the virtues like love, patience, meekness, self control, etc., and you will always chart your path into greatness.

Read :Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”

Prayer: Lord, i pray that my actions will deeply be influenced by your word.

Worry not, God cares for you

1 Peter 5:7
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Life presents us with many cares and burdens. We encounter difficulties, testings and sometimes persecutions and sufferings. All these may cause anxiety and creeple our faith. But God never intended man to live under such stress.
God cares!.

God is concerned about your needs and the affairs of your life. You need not to go through life as though you are on your own or God does not care about your life.

That is why the Bible admonishes us to cast our care unto the Lord. You see, cares are not meant for your carrying, but rather to be casted.

Casting your cares means that, you move from the sphere of trusting in our own resources and strategies for life to resting in God and His resources. We serve a caring and a loving God who will not set us up for destruction. He wants us to carry anything that makes us anxious to Him.

You see, keeping your gaze and nursing your worries will only bring anxiety which will only make you restless. It will also cause you not to make any significant progress in life or have results in life.
Anytime you become anxious you are trapped to behave like there is no God or God can’t help you out.

Don’t only see what the problem is. Also see what God can do. Worry, anxiety and tension is unnecessary because God, the miracle worker is in charge.

Read: Matthew 11:28,
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Prayer: Lord, I pray that I will always be under you without worrying and being anxious. Amen

Live above offences

Acts 24:16
“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men.”

Life is not without offences. In fact offences are no respector of persons. Although it is impossible to go through life without being faced with situations that will make you offended, you can also choose to live above it.

To be offended means to be hurt or angry because of a wrong done against you. Sometimes too, you can be offended because of your misinterpretation of an issues.

You see, if you carry hurt in your heart because of something done to you, you are then living in and with offence.

Jesus had this to say about how we should handle offence. Luke 17:3-4,”Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.” You see offences are not to be kept but rebuked (reconciled) and forgiven.

Draw from the love of God in your heart, when you are tempted to live in offence. Although it is “natural” for people to pay back for an offense, Christians are different.

Remember, that when you don’t handle offences well it will give room for enmity and open doors for the devil. Prolonged offences can also birth bitterness and sickness. (Heb 12:15)

Never act carnally to habor an offence or evil in your heart. Let love lead!

Read: Acts 24:16 “And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men.”

Prayer: Lord I pray for grace and wisdom to live above offences. Amen

Why you must believe God

And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:17-18‬ ‭

To believe God means to accept as true whatever he, (God) says without any doubt. Just as you believe God to be saved, you must also believe him for all that concerns you.

You see,you can have faith for your physical and material needs but
believing God goes beyond the natural and physical and gives way to the supernatural.
The above scripture gives a vivid description of the supernatural happenings that accompanies those that believe.

Hebrews11:5 talks about how Enoch believed God and never saw death. In the natural it’s appointed unto every man to die once;whether rich or poor, white or black, we will definitely see death. But through faith Enoch defiled this rule and experienced the supernatural in his life. Have faith in God for things that seem impossible in the natural and the supernatural will also be your daily experience.

Have faith for that healing you desire, believe God for the breakthrough in your business.

Never loose hope, God is faithful and ever ready to answer all your prayers.
Just believe.

Read: Mark 5:36 “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to believe you and your word beyond the natural to experience the supernatural. Amen

Keep calm, God is up to something

Romans 8:28
“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.”

Keeping a calm disposition is a sign that you are walking in faith towards God. It also tells that, you are confident God will make you arrive at your destination without fail.

God is always up to something when it comes to the fate of his own. You see, God has not left you alone to travel through the rough and rugged places, neither has he left you in the dark. He is always present, seeing you through the changing scenes of life to bring you to your glorious destination.

The Bible shows how God used many unfavourable situations to bring Joseph to his place of blessing. In fact, nothing stopped God’s purpose for his life. God worked through the hatred, rejection, and the persecution meted out on him to make him the man he ought to be.

As you move on in life, it may not all be “roses” or a straight path, but keep calm. God is about something. He is working for your good.
Keep loving Him, keep obeying His word, and keep praising him, because sooner than later, you will be walking in your high places.

Read: Ecclesiastes 3:11
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end”.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always keep calm even in unfavorable situations to see you work things out for my good. Amen

God’s word will make you prosperous

Joshua 1:8
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

The word of God makes the way of the righteous prosperous. It straightens every crooked path and develops the mind for success.

When you constantly practice the word of God, it conditions you for success in all your endeavours. This is why you must meditate on the word of God.

You see, your faith is revived whenever you engage the word. The word produces faith for greater works. Those who live by the word controls the world.

Receive the grace to be elevated through the word.

Read: Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be prosperous in all things as I actively engage your word. Amen

GOD’S WORD ALWAYS WORK

Isaiah 55:11
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it”.

The troubles of the world has put everyone in search of something that works or brings solutions.

Nonetheless, experience and history has also proved that man’s methods and solutions has not been without limitation. These can be seen in health service delivery, managing economies and the like.

But one truth still remains, although not appreciated by Christians who claim that “modernism” and “civilisation” has rendered void the “old sacred law”, the word of God-which is living and active and has the solution to the problems of this world.

Despite the fact that, human logic and philosophy has failed humanity, it is not so with God’s word. No matter what you think, God’s word will always work. It produces results whenever it is rightly engaged.
It is like a hammer that breaks rocks into pieces and like fire that consumes. God’s word has the power to produce whatever it talks about.

When medical science fails, there is healing in the Word, and it endures forever. When the economy fails, there is prosperity in the Word.

In fact, all that you need for life and godliness is in the Word.
Psalm 107:20 says He sent his word and healed them, Joshua 1:8 says the word prospers and brings good success, Romans 10:17 says God’s word gives faith. Learn to go for the word.

Search the word daily. Know what God has said in his word about your life. Get hold of it and let it be your walk and talk.
Don’t let it depart from your mouth, meditate on it till you are full of it. This is how to reign in life. Don’t rest your faith on human philosophy or man’s methods.

Read: Acts 20:32 “And now I commend you to God [placing you in His protective, loving care] and [I commend you] to the word of His grace [the counsel and promises of His unmerited favor]. His grace is able to build you up and to give you the [rightful] inheritance among all those who are sanctified [that is, among those who are set apart for God’s purpose-all believers].”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be an ardent follower and doer of your word. Amen

Work within time

Ephesians 5:16
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Working within time or being time conscious in the delivery of your assignment in life is one important principle that must never be taken for granted.
Those who do well in life, do well with time.

You see, for you to be effective in your work or what you do, you must respect time.
Every Heaven-sent vision has a time lag. Don’t sit and waste time expecting things to happen by chance. Your days of work may expire and you will miss God’s assignment.
Whatever you have to do, do it quickly.

Avoid procrastination and work within time. Stop pushing responsibilities to later dates and start work. Be responsible now and give no room for lateness.

Do whatever God has asked you to do now because tomorrow is uncertain.

Read: Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”

Prayer: Lord, i pray for grace to always work within time and avoid procrastination. Amen

IT PAYS TO BE FAITHFUL

Proverbs 28:20
“a faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.”

This points to the fact that whenever you are faithful, you attract God’s attention for a blessing.

Faithfulness demands that you remain committed to God without wavering. People who are faithful never make room for excuses when it comes to doing something for God. They strive hard to be consistent and to reach the desired expectation. For instance, Joseph was faithful in serving God even in unfavorable circumstances. He was sold into slavery, falsely accused and thrown into prison. Yet, he remained faithful to God (Genesis 39:1-3).

You see, Serving God or the purpose of God will sometimes stretch you. You must however be determined to go the extra mile or make sacrifices to emerge victorious. This is what faithfulness is all about.

Being faithful will sometimes take away your comfort and convenience for a season but the payoff at the end of the day will be great.

Never remain uncommitted at any point in your life. Be faithful in all things. Be faithful in attending Church services, in tithing, in studying the word, and in serving in the Church. Be known always for your faithfulness.

Read: 1 Corinthians 4:2 “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always stay faithful to you and any task you give me. Amen

God is all you need

Psalm 23:1
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

God is all you need to succeed.
Your plans will only succeed when you include God. Never keep God out of your plans and pursuits in life, because he is all that you need.

Those who trust God for their needs will be satisfied with his provision. He is the all sufficient God and there is nothing too hard for Him. He is all that you need to reign in this troubled world.

The scripture says in Psalms 24:1 that “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein”. You see, you need not to be troubled because God possesses all that you need in life.

You are likely to encounter disappointment when you depend on men for your upkeep. Focus on the maker for everything and He will never let you down. He is your healer, provider and strength.

Be encouraged this day and trust God to make all grace abound towards you. He makes the impossible possible and makes a way where there seems to be no way. God is willing to give you all things.

Read: Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always keep my gaze and trust in you for every need. Amen
