Wisdom the way to success

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

One of the virtues that adds to your life is wisdom. It instills the fear of God in you and sets you on the move for greater works.

In fact it is principal to everything that we do.Wisdom doesn’t just fall from heaven as many suppose. It comes by diligent search and commitment to having it.

Learning and attending to wise counsel will launch you into the world of wisdom.
You are on the path to getting wisdom anytime you receive and obey simple instructions from men of authority.

Men of authority are men of influence God brings our way to nurture and to positively transform our lives through words of wisdom.

Despising their wisdom will lead to your own detriment. The wisdom you need is in the words of those men of authority God has given to you.

Life’s journey will not be successful when it is void of wisdom. Diligently go on a search for wisdom and success shall be you portion.

Proverbs 4:5-6
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. [Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that my life will not be void of the wisdom I need to succeed in life.

Wisdom, a deliverer

Proverbs 5:1
My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

Precious ornaments like gold and silver cannot be compared with the value associated with wisdom.
The Bible says, wisdom is the principal thing.

It is the divine deposit of God’s wisdom in us that makes us triumph in life.
Many are in bondage because they are void of wisdom.

Wisdom will enable you to start and to finish well. It will liberate you and set you up to also liberate others.
Until wisdom is exalted, nations will continue to be in stagnation. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:19 that “The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens”.

The world’s plight can only be solved when wisdom is at work. Wisdom helps you to know when to do what.

Continue to seek wisdom at all times. Wisdom is what you need to make your life’s journey smooth and successful.

Proverbs 8:1-2
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that from today I will diligently seek and receive the wisdom from your word and be blessed by it. Amen

KEEP THE FIRE ON!

2 Timothy 1:6
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

The Apostle Paul once wrote to Timothy and said “That is why I should remind you to stir up, rekindle the embers of; fan the flame of, and keep burning the gracious gift of God; the inner fire that is in you…” (2 Timothy 1:6 AMP).

As a child of God, you have some fire on the inside. The fire came into your heart the day you were filled with the Holy Spirit. This is the presence that makes you more than a mere person.
From that day, your words brings life and produces results.

It is the fire of the Holy Spirit that gives us the boldness, and divine energy to stand out in this world of evil. This fire is also a “sanctifier”-it keeps us from corruption.

The fire of the Holy Spirit brings out the uniqueness in you as a Christian and also sets you apart to live a life that brings glory to God.

Ablaze and keep your fire on and you are sured of living a Sanctified, one filled with power and also brings glory to God.

Acts 2:3
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that this fire I have received at the entrance of the Holy Spirit in me will not go down.

Don’t worry in life

Matthew 6:25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Born again folks ought to live a life of faith and not a life of fears and doubts that breeds worry.
The Bible in Matthew 6:25 says that “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”.

Beloved, God’s word has warned us against worry. No matter how justifiable you will claim your situation is, worry must never be an option.
Worry robs your joy in life and hinders your prayers. Any time you get into worrying you cut off God’s POWER from working on your behalf.

Have faith in God that all things are working together for your good. After praying about a situation refuse to let it be your burden again.

Never allow yourself to be thrown into the state of worry which will nullify the power of God that must work for your good.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that worrying will not be part of my life as a Christian.

Refuse to fear

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Living to believe that God puts fear in us in order to make us humble is never true. In Apostle Paul’s writing to Timothy, fear was mentioned to be a spirit which never had it’s route from God (2 Timothy 1:7).

Fear is neither a gift nor fruit of the Spirit. It is the device of the enemy to bring you to “square zero”. Don’t remain silent anytime the spirit of fear tries to attack you, rather declare your freedom in the Lord and move on.

Fear opens doors for the enemy to attack. Until your faith overshadows any fear that may come your way, your territory will be evaded unto defeat.

Job was an upright man, secured in the presence of God. His life was one that pleased the Lord but was afflicted by the devil because he feared. See what Job said “For what I fear has come upon me”

Don’t give in to fear, because it has no reward. The child of God ought to live in love, power and sound mind.

Job 3:25
For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that I will not succumb to the spirit of fear in Jesus name.

God delights in Giving

Acts 20:35
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

In order to carry out our duties properly as believers, we must uphold the art of giving to its peak.

Giving is godly and as such, the believer must embrace it because God delights in it.
Believers must come to a realisation that our inability to give breeds stagnation in the Kingdom.

Giving is not all about dispensing cash to love ones. Anytime we deprive the world of the good news we are inefficient in giving.
Unfortunately, there are many people who delight in receiving than giving. But the word says “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).

Don’t be deceived, anyone who has not mastered giving, cannot be a good receiver. Be a giver from today and you will be assured of the blessings that comes from God.

2 Corinthians 8:15
As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always be a giver.

Learn to be Hospitable

Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Making your home friendly and welcoming to visitors is an important practice in the Christian faith.

The Bible in Hebrews 13 :1 says “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it”.

Making your home welcoming and refreshing to people can bring a great blessing into your life and family.
Genesis 18:1-10, records how Abraham refreshed three men that passed by his house as he sat by the plains of Mamre. The Bible said, he gave them water to wash their feet and bread to eat. He also took a butter, milk and calf and served them.
After this welcoming reception they told Abraham that the wife Sarah who had been barren for many year conceived.

Making your home hospitable is a way you can express your love and graciousness to people and also create fellowship among the brethren.

Learn to be hospitable and also treat people well. Many have encountered angels unknowingly and their lives have been transformed greatly just by being hospitable.

Genesis 18:3-4
And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be hospitable and always make my home a comfortable place for people.

You have angels accompanying you

Psalm 91:11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Angels are not just spirit beings with wings flying up and down as many are made to believe. Angels are God’s agents for our preservation, defence and security.

They are there to ward off evil and devour all plagues. The Bible says, God shall give his angels charge, order, decree to keep the believer in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).
Beloved, angels are messengers of destiny.

To us in this new testament age, they are God’s rescue corps and their job is to bring us out of every danger.
In the Bible, God sent His angel into the fiery furnace King Nebuchadnezzar wanted to use to oppress the life of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. In the den of lions an angel appeared to shut the mouth of the lion.

Angels as we know are ministering spirits. They are dispatched by God to undertake divine assignment on earth for the deliverance and rescue of the sons of God.

As a Christian know that you are not alone. You have a divine personality by your side for your provision and safety.

Acts 27:23-24
For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Prayer: Lord, i thank you for keeping your angels charge over me and anything that concerns me.

Hold fast the confession

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful”.

One important thing to lay hold on or to keep is the confession of your hope.
You must always speak or confess things in line with God’s word for your life. This is what we call, positive confession.

You see, what you confess has the power to make or unmake you. Thus, your confession is crucial for your success in life.

You must always learn to confess God’s word in everything situation. This is what will establish things for you in life.

Positive confession or holding on to the confession of God’s word determines your state of rest and survival. It will determine what you can have or not have.

You see, for you to succeed, you must see yourself in the light of the scriptures and confess what the word says until it manifest.

Never say something about yourself when it is inconsistent with the word. Say only what the word says.

Remember that wrong confession brings bondage, and unnecessary troubles. Be determined to confess what God says about you.

Read: Job 22:28 “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to hold onto your word and always confess it no matter what happens. Amen
