Walk in the right way.

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death” (Proverbs 16:25).

Proverbs 14:12 also says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death”.

No one gets to his or her destination by taking the wrong way or route. To arrive at a definite destination, you must subscribe to a particular “way”, or path or course. Whether it is ministry, relationship, marriage, financial issues, until you decide to go the right way, your life will be ruined.

As a Christian, you must be able to discern the right way, from the wrong. You must also, discern the way that “seems right”, from what is right.

The fact that something seems right does not make it one. Most often than not, many wrong choices, actions or evil appears nice or good.

Let God’s word be your guide in deciding which way or course to take in life. Don’t allow yourself to be led by baseless and ungodly philosophies of men. Today, most people have been misled by socal media and loose talkers.

Micah 6:8 says “The LORD God has told us what is right and what he demands…”
Don’t be confused by the “crowd” or what everybody is doing to get along in life. Distinguish yourself. Follow the right way. It is a narrow way, it is a difficult way, it is a godly way, but there is grace to bring you to the expected end.

Read: Mathew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always choose the right way in life.

God is all you need to have all your needs met

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

The Bible says, God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Today many people have all kinds of ways and methods by which they want to meet their needs. Some bank on friends, institutions and other social groups. But the truth still stands.

It is God who can make all grace abound to you, and having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (2Corinthians 8:7).

David said, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills for my help comes from the Lord” ( Psalm 121:1-2).
Never put your hope and trust in men. They may only fail you in the process.

The resources of men are limited and may be limited also in what they can do or give to you. There are many impossibilities with men but with God all things are possible.

With the notion that God delays in supplying or making provisions for his children many people seek to find help from mediums that supply’s fast but with so many unbearable consequences.

The Bible saids woe to them that goes down to Egypt for help. Trust God and see him to be the only dependable source for all your needs.

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always look up to you for all my needs.

Let wisdom be operational in your life

Proverbs 3:21
My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

Any life devoid of wisdom will end in struggle and failure. Success in life is always predicated on wisdom. It is by wisdom that you know how things work. Wisdom also delivers into your hands they keys that enables you to rightly apply the knowledge you receive.

The Bible in the book of Proverbs 24:3 says that, it is by wisdom that things are built. You see, without wisdom you can’t build anything in life. Folks who don’t make wisdom operational in their life can scarcely do something remarkable in life.

Your personal life, your family life, career and ministry can only see progress when you engage wisdom. For many years now, I have discovered that things don’t just work and attain success by themselves or by chance, it takes a practical application of wisdom to getting things work.

Wisdom as the Bible said is better than strength and weapons of war. You can live a stress free and a life without struggle if you allow wisdom to be expressional in your life.

Proverbs 4:5
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that the wisdom from your word and man of God will not depart from my heart.

Be zealous for the Lord

Galatians 4:18
But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

When you are zealous, you are eager and full of strong feeling to do something.
God wants you to be zealous when it comes to following and serving him. The Bible records that, when Jesus was on earth he was consumed with zeal for the house of God (John 2:17). This made him drive out money changers, sellers, and shoppers from the house of God. He demanded that, God’s house be made a house prayer nothing more, nothing less.

Jesus’ zeal for God and the things of the Kingdom made him give up his life to bring us into glory.
The opposite is what we see today. Many people are full of zeal for the wrong things.
Some more have channeled their energy into pursuing fruitless things.

Many today in our world have developed zeal for things that do not have eternal value but will serve their earthly interests. It is good to be zealous for Education, Career, etc but must especially towards Lord. Your zeal for the Lord must be exceptional.

It is good to add zeal to what ever good thing you are doing in this world but most especially to the Lord and his things which has eternal value and reward.

Acts 22:3
I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be more zealous for you and your things.

Be content with what theLord gives you

1 Timothy 6:6
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Whatever the Lord gives you is never too small. The little the Lord gives is better than the much the devil supplies. Remember that, no matter how little you may see the supply of God, it has the ability to increase.

Contentment is an attitude that makes you become thankful and appreciate the provisions of the Lord. Always be grateful with the little you have because your want may be a brother’s need.

A discontented person may never be grateful because he or she wants it all. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:6 that “But godliness with contentment is great gain”.
The attitude of contentment is the attitude of deliverance because it saves the righteous and delivers him from being covetous.

Be content with the little blessings God has supplied you with and you are assured of an abundant increase.

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be content with the little blessings you have blessed me with.

You are the man for the job.

Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

It is very important to know that God has equipped you with what it takes to do his will and any assignment for your life.

Until you know that you are the man for the job and have what it takes to deliver you will always keep looking around. Sometimes it is worrying to see believers who ought to be the solution to the ills of our world do nothing about it. Some also shift the responsibility to others to engage in nonessential matters.

The truth is that, we are in the days when believers must stand out and live up to task. You don’t have to run away from responsibilities. You must stand your grounds and do something excellent.
Today, so many people have run away from the calling of God and some life’s responsibilities.

Know that you have been created, called, equipped and mandated for greater works child of God…rise up to the occasion.

Judges 6:14
And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to hold on to the calling and mandate for my life and th courage yo persevere.

Grow in the word

Psalm 119:130
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Growing in the word involves catching up with the deeper things in God. You ought to dedicate your time to know what God has said in his word.

It is not enough to settle on the least knowledge you have acquired. Search the Scriptures for yourself and learn new things. Grow up in your knowledge about the new life in God.

God wants you to recharge forward and desist from the attitude of a babe. The Bible says in Hebrews 5:13 that “For every one that used milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe”.

You must move on to the deeper truths in God’s word. Know what God has done and He is still doing. It will cause you to walk in another realm with the Lord.

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be a student of your word.

The blessing of the Lord brings wealth

3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

The blessing of God plays a vital role in the life of the believer.
God’s blessings gives the believer a holistic benefit. It affects us body, soul and spirit. The Bible says that, I wish above all things that you may be in health and prosper even as your soul prospers.

You see, you can’t take God out of your endeavors and expect to be wealthy. Deuteronomy 8:18 says “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day”.

It is God that gives you the power, the ability and the wisdom to make wealth.
Anytime you retire God from what you are doing you have indirectly denied yourself of God’s power that brings a comprehensive blessing into your life.

Know that it’s only God who give us the power to obtain that holistic blessing we need. By strength shall no man prevail.!!

Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the power you have released onto me to be blessed holistically.

Life is not all about riches

1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

One of the wide spread deception in the world today is that “life is all about money”.
But this is far from the truth. Life is not all about riches. You see, in as much as God wants you to prosper, if you make getting of riches the main reason for your living, you will shipwreck your faith.

In the life of the believer, money is always secondary. The Bible throws light on this truth by saying “seek first the Kingdom of God and all other things shall be added…”.
Putting getting of riches first is out of God’s order. In fact, riches or wealth is not the main thing.

Folks who make riches the main thing in their life will only be chasing after the wind.
Money as they say is the propeller of action, however this has led many into various kinds of destruction in this life.

Without God, the riches you amount will be meaningless, for life is not all about riches but God and his righteousness which secures your eternal destination.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that my mind and heart will not be glued to pursuing riches but you alone.

The power of earnest prayer

1 Kings 17:1
And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

It is effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man that produces results. The Bible puts it this way : “the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working”.

In fact, earnest prayer is serious prayer. It comes from your innermost being.
James gives Elijah as an example of a righteous man who prayed and got results. Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are. In other words, he faced challenges and was subject to pressures and temptations just like we are today, but the Bible says he “… PRAYED EARNESTLY THAT IT MIGHT NOT RAIN…”

His prayer availed. God wants you to know that, you can also change adverse situations surrounding your life and family when you shut yourself in your prayer closet and apply this method of prayer.

As a Christian you are created to prevail in every area of you life, bringing strange and adverse situations down down through earnest prayer.

Never undermine the power of fervent prayer, resort to it and the dynamic power of God will change things to your favor.

James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to stand fervent in pray at all times. Amen
