REIGN IN LIFE

Romans 5:17
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

To reign simply means to rule in a capacity where you are in charge. As a believer you arethe righteousness of God in Christ and you have been destined to reign. God has strategically positioned you in life to reign.

The Bible says we live in Him, move in Him and are also made complete in him (Luke 17:28). Your position in life determines to what extent you can reign in life. As a believer
you are not only in Christ, you are also with Christ. Where Christ sits is where you also are, a position far above principalities and powers.

The Bible says we are to reign in life. Meaning you got to be in charge. You must reign here on earth and not in heaven. Revelation 5:10 says “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth”.

You are not to be a failure in life neither must you be a victim of circumstances. No! God has put you in charge. He wants you to exercise your faith and reign. You see, there is
nothing as painful as not living what you really are.

You see, sin, sickness and failure must be a thing of the past. The Bible says in Isaiah 53:5 that “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”. Again the Bible says, sin must not have dominion. (Romans 6:14).

You have what it takes to make your life glorious and great. Simply exercise your faith in the Lord. Go ahead because the earnest expectation of the creatures waits for your manifestation.

KEEP YOUR PRAISE UP

2 Timothy 3:16-17
“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the
prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the
whole foundation of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the
doors were opened and every ones bands were loosed”

Psalm 34:1 says “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth”. You must always keep your praise up as a child of God. You must never relent in
praising the Lord. The praise of God must continually be on your lips just as the psalmist says. Therefore whether all is well or not, you must never quit praising the Lord.

Praising God is an act of faith and it must be done from your heart or spirit. When you sincerely want to praise God, you must overlook what may be happening to you and
around you. This is because irrespective of what you are going through, God is still God.

It is your praise in these moments that unlocks doors in your life. Not only that, it tells of your true love for God.

There are many believing folks who only praise or give glory to the Lord when all is well with them. Such folks want to see money in their bank accounts, they want to see their
healing manifest, they want to see the physical manifestation of all that they desire before they praise God. This is more like walking with God in the flesh. You don’t need all those
physical manifestations before making praise your lifestyle.

Paul and Silas, knew this truth. No wonder during the heat of the moment while in prison they lifted up their voices in praise. See: Acts 16:25 “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them”. You see, the prison situation did not make them hold back their praise. That act of faith brought a prison breaking miracle. Forget about whatever you might be facing in life and lift up your voice to praise the Lord.

Keep praising until God shows up.

THE WORD OF GOD IS FOR YOUR BENEFIT

2 Timothy 3:16-17
“All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness: that the of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works”

The written word is basically for our benefit and profitable as captured in the text above. What it means is that, the benefits you will get out of the word of God outweighs any cost
or time spent on it.

The word of God basically helps us in our walk with God and also teaches us the way to be blessed. See Micah 6:8 “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy
God”

God’s word is for our learning. You must be full of the word if you want to excel in this life.
Romans 15:4 says “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope”.
Learning God’s word will inspire hope in you. From the word, you will know that your future as a Child of God is bright. This will let you move on even when you are faced with
challenges.

Not only that, the word of God is the well of knowledge to guide our lives. In fact it is the manual for living well in this world. It will lead to a land where you will embrace wealth,
riches and honor.

The believer who does not make God’s word supreme in his or her life will be hindered by many things in this word. He would not know authority in God as against the devil.
One thing you have to understand is that the devil will always take advantage of what you don’t know about him. Learn God’s word daily. Learn it and be ever ready to apply it.

Never substitute the opinions of men for the word of God. Know that God’s word will never fail and will surely bring you into a glorious destination but the opinions of men will
not.

God’s word is for your benefit or profit always. Don’t see it in any other way. Any time you find yourself reading the word, know that you are bringing profit into your life.

BE STRONG IN THE FAITH

Ephesians 6:10-18
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”

The Christian walk demands that you exercise some toughness and power in dealing with the issues of life. Until that, you can’t fully enjoy your rights and privileges as a Child
of God.

Matthew 11:12 says “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent “take it by force”. So for you to take delivery of
your possessions or to stand for what is yours as a Child of God demands that you remain strong in faith.

You see, you can’t live like a weakling and make it in this evil doomed world. No! Not at all. You have to marshal your spiritual strength to pave way through the storms of life. No matter the challenge you encounter, radically engage your faith to lay hold on your bright
and glorious future.

Always stay strong in the Lord, and having done all to stand, stand with all readiness and boldness. Never give up at all. Like the days of old, when the people of God had to get into their promised land, through the force of faith. They refused to succumb to the
giants. They spoke and took action. See their words, “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome
it”(Numbers 13:30).

Stay strong. Remain indefatigable and move forward to possess your possession.

DON’T FORGET TO PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice
of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air; and so shall ever be with the Lord”

Success in every endeavor is dependent on the quality of the preparation that is invested
into it. There are many things a person can prepare for in life. You can prepare for marriage, you can prepare for a career, and you can prepare for ministry and on the list
goes. Nonetheless, one of the most important things to prepare for in life is the coming
of the Lord.

Christ coming is sure and very certain, and you ought to prepare for it. The Bible says “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God…”. In another place it says, “For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry”(Hebrews 10:37). Thus, Christ’s coming is expected and one must prepare for it. This means that as a Christian you must always live with eternity in mind.

You see, many who will not make it at rapture will be solely due to lack of preparation.
Every now and then, the clock is moving towards the final end. Your state of unpreparedness will render you foolish (Mathew 25: 1-13). Be wise and know that these are not ordinary times. So long as it is not “over yet” prepare!

In these last days be serious and never cast away your faith which has a great recompense. Never let the system or the worldly pleasures rob you of the glories and the beauty of God’s eternal kingdom. If there is anything to be forgotten in life, note that it should not be in preparing for the coming of the Lord.

LEARN TO BE PATIENT

Hebrews 10:36 “For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done
the will of God, ye may receive the promise”

Patience is a virtue that makes you tolerant and never anxious or troubled in the face of
adversities. The Bible in some places calls this great virtue “longsuffering”. In other words, you are able to bear with things for long.

Galatians 5:22 reveals that patience is a fruit of the recreated human spirit. Meaning that as a Child of God, you have what it takes to be patient.
Not being patient in life can make you miss out on God’s best for your life. Don’t forget that, as Christian sometimes, your faith will be tested through the changing scenes of life.
Nonetheless patience is the virtue that can make you pass God’s test. There is nothing
wrong when in the exercise of your faith you have to wait for weeks, months or even
years.

The truth is that you will get God’s best when you believe. God never fails!
Patience teaches how to wait on the Lord without any wavering in your faith. Don’t forget that there are folks who have missed it and some are still missing it because they don’t
exercise patience.

God wants you to prosper but you must have the patience for that. God wants you to be healed and be in health but you must have the patience for that. God wants you to have a great marriage but you must have the patience for that. God wants you to have a great job but you must have the patience for that.

If you throw away patience you will miss the best God has for you. You need great patience to come into your “promised land” just like the Israelites. Your patience in life is
a proof that you still trust in the Lord. Be patient so that you don’t miss God’s best for your life.

YOU HAVE THE POWERTO CHANGE THINGS

Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”

Matthew 18:18 also says “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall
be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”.

From the above scriptures it is evident that the child of God is endued with power. No
Christian is powerless. Whether you got born again this morning or many years, you have
the divine power of God. The power is now in you. It is ignorance that makes room for
believers to think that they are powerless. But the truth is you have the power of God in
you. All you have to do is to use it.

Christians who don’t use the power available to them won’t see things working the way
they are supposed to. That is to say that, if you don’t walk in your “power realm” devils
will play in your territory.
1 Peter 5:8-9 says “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith,
knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the
world”.

You see that the Bible is teaching that if you allow the devil, he will do his own show. In
fact, he will spoil things and go. That is why as a Christian, you need to be well instructed
in the word of God, and with the Spirit of boldness you put the devil where he belongs.

You don’t need to sit down and look at the devil to mess your family, finances,
relationship, marriage, ministry, career, education and any blessing you received from the
Lord. Don’t master crying when you should be putting the devil where he belongs. Cries
and tears don’t move him into obedience and subjection, power does.

Stand your grounds and release the power of the Lord to change things in and around
your life. Use the word and vehemently pray to oppose contrary forces against your life
now and in the future.
As you do this, your life is bound to move from glory to glory.
Change things! You have the power!

LET YOUR LIFE BEA BLESSING

Matthew 5:13
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made
salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people

It is the will of God that all His children prosper. But this does not just happen. God has
ordained that we prosper by working as Christians. That is why the Bible teaches that the
diligent soul will be made fat and prosperous.

See Proverbs 13:4, “The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of
the diligent shall be made fat” The New Living Translation of the Bible renders it more
clearly, “Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper”.
Thus, it is not only a fact that prosperity comes by diligence, but it is also the truth since
God’s word says so. Without diligence or hard work many things won’t go well in your
life. Most things will work well if only people will be diligent in their endeavors. As a
Christian you must know that, God has blessed you with the ability to work things out.

Thus, anytime you deploy your strength to work hard at things it receives the blessings
of the Lord (Deuteronomy 28:11). Your input receives a supernatural touch to produce
tremendous results.
In Genesis 1 and 2, the Bible reveals the work to rest ratio of God. He worked six days
putting things in a great order and rested only on one. The ratio was therefore six to one.

Genesis 2:2 says “And on the seventh God ended his work which he had made; and he
rested on the seventh from all his work which he had made”
Therefore after six days of hard work, the Bible described the results as “very good”.
Genesis 1:31 says “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very
good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth”

Things become “very good” when you work. Remember that, before then, the earth was
without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep (Genesis 1:1). So
working on things to make them better is one attribute that the Bible revealed about God
in creation. That is one more reason why the hard working person will be made fat,
increase, prosper and will see something very good in life because that’s the divine order
from creation. Therefore anytime you practice laziness, you deny yourself of great
blessing in life.

Refuse to be lazy in life. Refuse to do little when it is possible to work harder to make
things better.
Remember that laziness can’t give you a beautiful destination.
Work hard in all the endeavors of your life and you will see “very good” things in your life.

BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind”

Strength and courage are two dominant forces you need to get something done in life. Not only that, but you also need it to persevere in a course you take in life. Without courage, you will not be able to move on to do exploits. Being courageous simply means being fearless, daring, or audacious. This is the attitude God expects us to carry in the exercise of our divine mandate.

Most often than not, the circumstances that sometimes surround us in the pursuit of our purpose demands that we remain tough and stay courageous. It is by this courage that can make you pursue a vision despite any opposition.

No one can rule out the fact that there are challenges associated with pioneering things in life or getting something done. Despite the fact that such moments may sometimes generate fear and anxiety from a natural standpoint, you must learn to respond with courage from your inner man.

Pursuing any God-given agenda sometimes exposes you to “denials” and “betrayals” but this must not make you quit. Joseph, the son of Jacob had to deal with rejection and denials from his own brothers on his way to the top. The fact that he didn’t give in or even commit suicide in the face of such harsh treatment of being sold by his own blood brothers to traders shows some iota of courage.

As a Christian, you must learn not to faint in the day of adversity. Proverbs 24:10 says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small”. You must always build your faith by consistently feeding on God’s word. Your faith in God will give you divine strength and courage to always do the impossible. Again, Jesus taught us not to faint in the days of adversity. On the cross, when He was neglected by all, He still held on confessing God as His father and also entrusted His life in His hands (Luke 23:46). How courageous are you in the midst of hard times? Will you still stand your grounds to pursue your vision when no one is on your side.

Don’t run away or give up on your God-given purpose all because you are faced with a challenge. Be strong and move forward. Like David, move through the troop and run over the wall (Psalm 18:29).

GUARD YOUR FREEDOM

Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage”

Freedom is one priceless thing that God has blessed the believer with. For instance, the born again believer has been set free from sin, sickness (which is incipient death), and any satanic bondage. The Bible also teaches that we are free from any condemnation or guilt that our previous life of sin might have birthed. Romans 8:1 says “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”.

Your freedom as a Christian started the day you got born again. See John 8:36 “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”. The moment Christ became the Lord over your life, you entered into freedom.
Nonetheless, now that you have been set free from the power of darkness, it is also dependent on you to “keep this freedom”. Because being freed and staying free are two different things. That’s why the bible is admonishing you to stay free. In other words, you must not allow the elements of this world to hold you captive again- the pride of life, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes.

Remember that the devil still wants to extend his influence over your life, but until you submit, he does not have a say. Stand your ground and always resist the devil from putting you under bondage (1 Peter 5:9). Walk in this new life and fight off any attempt of the enemy to influence your life and future and always remember that freedom in Christ does not mean freedom to transgress.
