POWER OVER SATANIC ACTIVITIES.

Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

As a Christian, God has given you power over demonic and satanic activities. As far as God is concerned, you are not at the mercy of the devil.

You see, life on earth is not only natural; it has a spiritual dimension that sometimes comes with devilish and demonic activities. Some of these activities include attacks on people’s health, families, finances, careers, and life in general.

To be successful in life, you must learn to engage the power of God within you against any form of devilish activity. You must bind their influence through prayer and positive confession.

Constantly keep in mind that there are satanic activities in this world. Your knowledge of this gives you an upper hand in knowing how to live your life.

People who downplay the existence and manifestation of satanic activities often end up becoming victims in life.

Give yourself to prayer and constant worship. This will enable you to discern and effectively deal with any activities of the devil against your life.
Always remember that you are fighting from a place of victory, not for victory. Christ has already overcome the enemy on your behalf (Colossians 2:15).

Read: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Prayer: Lord, I declare an end to any demonic activities against my life and all that concerns me. I take authority over every work of darkness, and I decree that I walk in victory through Christ Jesus. Amen

STRANGE VICTORY.

1 Samuel 17:50-51
“So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him. David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine’s sword and drew it from the sheath. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword. When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran.”

More often than not, we associate victory with experience or expertise, strength, and strategy when people face battles or challenges. Although this may be a fact, it is not the entire truth regarding how we win our battles in life as Christians.

As Christians, we are sometimes confronted with battles or challenges where our physical strength, ability, and strategies are of no use. In fact, we become helpless from a human point of view. It is in these moments that we are introduced to the power of God working through us.

You see, to live the Christian life solely with human wisdom and strength will bring frustration because you may be challenged with things beyond your ability. You must learn to make room for God by depending on what He can do with you and through you. This is how to win some of life’s most dreadful challenges or battles.

In the fight between David and the hero of the Philistines, Goliath, God brought David a strange victory. The victory was strange because, in the flesh or from a physical standpoint, there was no way David—an inexperienced shepherd boy—could defeat a trained and experienced warrior.

Yes, it is true that in life you may be confronted with strange battles, but believe and trust God for strange victories. You will not be a victim of circumstances. God will work in you and with you to bring you victory.

As you journey through life, know that God is with you and that He is your sufficiency. He will work victories with you. Never be perturbed when situations turn bizarre for you—trust God, and you will emerge victorious.

Read: Proverbs 21:31 – “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.”

Prayer: Lord, I thank You for victories in any challenge I am confronted with, in Jesus’ name.

SHUT NOT THE BOWEL OF COMPASSION.

1John 3:17
“But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his heart of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?”.

The love of God in our hearts must make us respond to the needs of others.

There is no way you can walk in love without expressing it by giving to others in need. Love is a giver. Love looks at the interest of others. 1Corinthians 13:5 says that love does not seek its own. You see, you can’t walk in love and be selfish.

To have something and to withhold it from a brother or sister in need is not love.
You must never close your heart against a brother or sister that is in need.
You see, the blessings of God in your life must also help other people in the body of Christ.

When it is in your power to help someone, do it generously. That is the demonstration of the love of God. Don’t harden your heart when it comes to helping others because of some bad experiences you might had. Let go.
Be a stream that others can benefit from.

Read: John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to always keep a heart filled with love to give to others.

LIVE WITH ETERNITY IN FOCUS.

Hebrews 10:37
“For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.”

One of the most critical preparations in life is for the return of the Lord. The coming of Jesus is not a myth or a distant idea—it is a guaranteed event that will unfold just as surely as the sun rises and sets. The Bible declares, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God…” His return is closer than ever, and there is no room for complacency or deception.

As a Christian, you must live daily with eternity in focus. This is the only way to ensure you are ready for the Lord’s coming. In the days of Noah, people carried on with life—eating, drinking, marrying—until destruction came upon them suddenly (Luke 17:26-27). They were blind to the urgency of the times. In the same way, many today are distracted by worldly pursuits, ignoring the call to prepare for Christ’s return. Know that it will not be ignorance or disbelief that will cause many to miss the rapture; it is their failure to stay watchful and ready.

Stay alert! Be mindful of how you live. Align your life with God’s will, walk in total obedience, and refuse to be swept away by the deception of this world. Time is running out, and every passing moment draws us closer to the final hour. Are you focused on your divine purpose, or are you chasing after the fleeting pleasures of a world that will soon pass away?

These are the last days, and the pressures of the world will try to shake your faith. Do not allow sin, or worldly pleasures to contaminate your soul. The rapture is not for the careless, but for the watchful.

Read: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
“For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the [blast of the] trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain [on the earth] will simultaneously be caught up (raptured) together with them [the resurrected ones] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord!” (AMP)

Prayer: Lord, grant me the grace to live prepared for Your coming. Amen.

FOLLOW WHAT IS RIGHT.

3 John 1:11
“Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but [imitate] what is good. The one who practices good [exhibiting godly character, moral courage, and personal integrity] is of God; the one who practices [or permits or tolerates] evil has not seen God [he has no personal experience with Him and does not know Him at all].”

Life is shaped by what we follow and imitate. Every person, knowingly or unknowingly, models their behavior after something or someone. The danger, however, lies in following the wrong influences. Many have ruined their lives by copying ungodly behavior without realizing its consequences. This is why God commands us to be intentional about who and what we imitate—choosing only what is righteous and pleasing to Him.

As a believer, you are called to follow what aligns with God’s truth. The world may celebrate immorality, dishonesty, and rebellion, but you must resist the pressure to conform. Instead, seek out examples of godly character, uprightness, and wisdom. Don’t just copy people. Be sure that anyone you are copying fears God and walks in integrity. Don’t copy people who promote sin and self-indulgence.

Always guard your heart against negative influences. Do not adopt habits or lifestyles that contradict God’s Word. Let Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit be your standard for choosing what to follow. True success and fulfillment come from walking in the path of righteousness, not in blindly imitating what is popular or socially accepted.

Read: 1 Corinthians 11:1 – “Imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to follow only what is right and pleasing in Your sight. Amen.

GUARD YOUR TONGUE: THE POWER OF RIGHTEOUS SPEECH.

1 Peter 3:10
“For, Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.”

As Christians, God commands us to speak no evil of anyone. James 3:2 emphasizes that mastering our speech gives us control over our entire being. The words we speak have the power to build up or tear down, to heal or to destroy.

One crucial virtue you must cultivate is this: NEVER SPEAK ILL OF ANYONE.
Titus 3:2 reinforces this by stating, “Speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.”

To uphold this principle, you must refrain from making defamatory remarks that damage another person’s reputation or well-being. This means avoiding slander, gossip, backbiting, and false accusations. Many times, people engage in destructive speech out of jealousy, resentment, or even ignorance, failing to realize the harm they cause.

Words are powerful and irreversible—once spoken, they cannot be undone. A single careless statement can destroy a person’s life or tarnish their future. Many are suffering today because of harmful words spoken against them. Countless friendships, marriages, and business partnerships have been shattered due to slander and false accusations.

Proverbs 16:28 warns, “A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates the best of friends.” How often have people been torn apart because of malicious rumors? Some may never recover from the damage caused by careless words.

Speaking evil of others does not only harm them; it also corrupts your own spirit. When you engage in slander or gossip, you poison your own heart with negativity, robbing yourself of peace and joy. Instead, train yourself to speak words that edify, encourage, and bring healing. Be intentional about guarding your tongue, choosing words that align with God’s truth.

Starting today, be a master of your speech. Let no evil words leave your mouth about anyone. If you have nothing good to say, remain silent. Rather than tearing people down, seek ways to build them up.

Read: Psalm 101:5 – “Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy.”

Prayer: Lord, grant me the wisdom and discipline to guard my tongue to speak only what is righteous about people

LIVE A GUIDED LIFE.

Isaiah 30:21
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”

One of the most priceless things you can receive as a Christian is guidance from the Lord. According to the Cambridge Dictionary, the word guidance means “help and advice about how to do something or how to deal with problems.” As a Christian, God wants to help you and counsel you through His Word on what to do, what not to do, and how to handle life’s challenges.

Our opening text teaches that God is ready to guide and instruct us in the path we should take. Romans 8:14 also reinforces this truth, stating that “God leads His own.” Being a Christian comes with an advantage, as God helps us navigate life’s journey to succeed.

To live this guided life, you must open your ears to the Lord. You must hear what He has to say about your life, your actions, and the way He wants you to handle things. This is where the Lordship of God is evident. When you became born again, you did not only receive a Savior but also a Master—your Lord.

You cannot be guided by the Lord if you are unwilling to hear His Word or follow His instructions. You must have a heart that desires His guidance. This begins with delighting in His Word—whether through Scripture or by a word given to you by His Spirit.

In this world filled with troubles, uncertainties, and demonic attacks, your only way to thrive is to be guided by the Almighty and All-knowing God.

Anyone who surrenders their life to God’s guidance is sure to be blessed in all their endeavors despite life’s challenges. Not only that, but when you live a guided life, you will be saved from grave mistakes and the heartaches that come from wrong decisions.

Read: Psalm 25:9 “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to submit to Your guidance. Amen.

CLAIM YOUR PROPHETIC FUTURE WITH DETERMINATION

1 Timothy 1:18
“Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well.”

As believers, we are called not only to receive God’s prophetic word but also to actively pursue its fulfillment. God’s word is not a passive message—it is a blueprint for your destiny that demands a determined response. Whether you encounter a prophetic word through personal study or receive it as a prophetic utterance, your actions are essential in bringing that prophecy to life.

The prophetic word you receive about your future should directly influence your daily walk. You must intentionally align your actions, decisions, and priorities with God’s revealed plan. Any prophetic word that brings a mandate calls for studying God’s Word diligently, consistent prayer, and connecting with godly people who will support and challenge you to live in accordance with the message you have received.

Moreover, when you embrace a prophetic message, expect challenges to arise—forces that may try to derail your progress. Those who have witnessed the fulfillment of God’s promises stood their ground, maintaining a steadfast mental and spiritual disposition. As a Christian, you must stand firm and actively fight for what God has spoken over your life. You must also learn to resist any circumstances that contradict His promise.

Do not sit idly by and allow setbacks to cancel the divine destiny laid out for you. Embrace every opportunity to live out your prophetic word, knowing that your proactive commitment is the key to seeing God’s promises fulfilled in your life.

Read: Romans 4:20-21 “He did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace and wisdom to align my life with Your promises. Amen.

DO AND TEACH!

Acts 1:1
“The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach.”

How Jesus lived on earth is not just something to admire but a model to follow. His life was an example for us, showing how we should live. He is our perfect role model.

The entire life of Jesus can be summarized in the opening verse. First, He was a doer of the Word—living by God’s principles and precepts. Then, He was a teacher, sharing these truths with others. Before He taught people, He lived out the truth Himself.

As a Christian, this should also be your pattern. Do the Word first. Live by God’s principles and teachings without compromise. Follow His instructions faithfully, without fear or favor. By doing so, you prove the authenticity, applicability, and reasonableness of the Word you may one day share with others.

After practicing the Word, the next step is to teach it. Selflessly share the knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word with others. With God’s grace, find ways to guide and instruct people in His ways, even at personal cost.

Being a Christian is not just a title or religious identity. It is about living a life that pleases God—one built on His will.

Your life must be a clear example to others. Live out your faith consistently, wherever you are. You cannot be a Christian in the daytime and someone else at night.

The impact you make as a Christian depends on two things: what you do and what you teach others to do. Let this truth guide your life, knowing that we will all give an account before God (Romans 14:12).

Read: James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to do what Your Word says and to teach others as well. Amen.

TRUE SUCCESS COMES FROM GOD.

Psalm 1:2-3
“but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers”

Many people look at the challenges of life and conclude that success is out of reach. Some even believe that living righteously makes success difficult, if not impossible. But from God’s perspective, this is not true.

You don’t need to compromise your faith or engage in wrongdoing to succeed. No one can achieve lasting success through evil means. Any wealth gained dishonestly will eventually disappear. As Jeremiah warns:
“Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay, are those who gain wealth unjustly; in the middle of their lives, it will desert them, and in the end, they will be fools.” (Jeremiah 17:11)

True success comes from God. The Bible reminds us: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17)

You can experience success in every aspect of life—your Christian Walk, ministry, education, finances, etc.
God’s Word provides the key to success, but you must apply it: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8). Thus, having the Word, meditating on it, and applying it is your guaranteed path to success.”

When you let God’s Word guide your thoughts and actions, success and greatness will follow. Stay rooted in His Word, and nothing will be impossible for you.

Read: 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the grace to succeed in life. Amen
