RENEW YOUR MIND.

Colossians 3:10
“and have put on the new [spiritual] self who is being continually renewed in true knowledge in the image of Him who created the new self.” (AMP)

When a person becomes born again, their spirit is instantly recreated in Christ. However, the mind remains the same. This unchanged mind can hinder the believer from living out the realities of their new life in Christ. That is why the renewing of the mind is not optional.

Renewing your mind means reprogramming your thoughts to agree with the Word of God. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Your transformation begins where your thinking is changed.

Ephesians 4:23 also encourages us to “be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” This means allowing the Word of God to influence not just what you think, but how you think.

As you meditate on the Scriptures daily, your thoughts are reshaped and your mind is brought into alignment with the nature of Christ in your spirit. This process makes it possible to fully express the life of God that is within you.

A renewed mind sees as God sees, thinks as God thinks, and responds as God would respond. It equips you to handle life from a place of wisdom, faith, and victory.

Make it a daily commitment to study and meditate on the Word. Let it correct wrong mindsets, build godly convictions, and transform your life.

Read: 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Prayer: Lord, renew my mind by your Word and help me to reflect your glory in all I do.

THERE IS HELP IN GOD.

Hebrews 4:16
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Beloved, there is grace to help you as a Christian. No matter how daring and difficult life’s situations may sometimes be, there’s help for you in God.

Psalm 33:20 says “Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield”. You see, anytime you are hard up in life, look up to the Lord.

No matter what comes your way, God is always ready and eager to help you. Learn to make God your first point of call.

Yes, although men sometimes can help you, put God first.
Putting your trust, hope and confidence in man can hinder your progress. Psalm 118:8 “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

Jeremiah 17:5 also says “Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.”

Rely on God for help. Pray and call on him for help. He can come through for you in your ministry, marriage, career, education, finances, and in fact, anything of concern to you.
God has not failed before and He won’t fail in your case.

Read: Daniel 6:27 “God helps and saves people. He does amazing miracles in heaven and on earth. He saved Daniel from the lions.” (ERV)

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for assuring me of your help in all that I go through in life. Amen!

HELP HELPS.

Luke 6:31
“And as you would like and desire that men would do to you, do exactly so to them” (AMPC)

One powerful way to attract help in life is to be a helper yourself. It may seem ironic, but this is a divine principle woven into Scripture. Help operates under the law of sowing and reaping—when you give it, you will receive it in greater measure. Luke 6:38 confirms this: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over…”

Solomon also gives us wisdom on this: “He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered” (Proverbs 21:13). This means when you ignore others in their time of need, you unknowingly close the door to your own help.

You may not have much, but there’s always someone in need you can support. Your willingness to help others becomes the channel through which God sends you your own help. Refusing to care for others when you have the chance is to deny yourself access to divine assistance when you need it most.

There’s a story of a man who attended a healing service while battling a life-threatening illness. As he waited to be prayed for, he noticed another person in far worse condition being carried in. Moved with compassion, he began to fervently pray for the other man’s healing. Moments later, the very person he prayed for received his miracle. In that atmosphere of thanksgiving, the first man suddenly realized—his own symptoms had vanished. He was healed as well. Why? Because help begets help.

As you look up to God for help, make it your practice to be a vessel of help to others. That help you give will return to bless you in ways you never imagined. Help Helps!

Read: Psalm 121:1–2 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

Prayer: Lord, make me a vessel of help to others. Let my heart always be willing to serve, give, and lift others in their time of need. And as I sow help, let Your divine help locate me. Amen.

The Sin of Pride.

Matthew 23:12
“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

Pride is a silent destroyer. It promises glory but brings shame. There is nothing admirable or rewarding about living in pride. Though many lift themselves up in the hope of being recognized or respected, they often end up in disgrace and dishonour.

Jesus said it plainly: “Whoever exalts himself shall be abased.” Pride is when a person tries to lift themselves higher than God intends. It is self-promotion rooted in arrogance, and it always leads to a fall.

Many forget that true honour comes only from God. Pride tries to take honour by force, but humility receives honour from the Lord. You do not have to show off or live beyond your means to gain recognition. It is God who lifts the humble.

Pride begins in the heart. It is a mindset long before it becomes an action. That is why Proverbs 16:18 says, “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” If pride is left unchecked, it will grow quietly and eventually bring down even the most gifted person.

As a Christian, let the Word of God fill your heart and shape your character. Watch your thoughts, your speech, and your reactions, and always make them align with humility. Humility will keep you safe and usable by God.

Read: Proverbs 29:23 says, “A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.” This is the path God blesses. Reject pride and walk in humility, and in due season, God will lift you.

Read: Proverbs 16:18 “Pride leads to destruction, and arrogance to downfall.”

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me to live in true humility

GOD IS A GIVER OF GOOD THINGS.

James 1:17
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

One truth that every believer must settle in their heart is that God is the source of all that is good and perfect. He is not only willing but ever ready to bless us with the very best. The Bible clearly says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above.” That means nothing truly good comes apart from God.

The best things in life such as salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, peace, and prosperity have their origin in Him. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…” Proverbs 10:22 also assures us that, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

Jesus further assures us in Luke 11:13 that if earthly fathers can give good gifts to their children, “how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him”

You see, God desires to bless you far more than you desire to be blessed. He wants to load you daily with benefits. But you must seek Him, not just what He gives. Don’t chase after things. Chase after God and all things will be added.

It is in your consistency in following after the Lord that your life becomes fruitful and filled with His perfect gifts. Be in fellowship with Him always. He is your Source.

Read: Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Prayer: Dear Father, thank You for being the Giver of every good and perfect gift.

HAVE FERVENT LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

1 Peter 4:8
“And above all things have fervent love for one another: for love shall cover the multitude of sins.”

In teaching the believer how to live in these end times, the Bible places love above many other virtues. In 1 Peter 4:7–8, the apostle instructs us to be sober, watchful, and prayerful, yet he adds something more—he says, “above all things, have fervent love for one another.” That means love is not just another good virtue to have. It is the highest. It is the anchor of Christian living in these last days.

Love is truly above all. 1 Corinthians 13:13 confirms this when it says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” You see, love always takes the lead. It outlasts and outshines everything else.

Your love for your fellow believer must be fervent. That means it must be sincere, deep, and unwavering. Pretending to love is not what God expects. Love must be real. You do not love with your words only; it must show in your actions and your attitude.

You see, true love flows from your recreated spirit, not just your emotions. When love comes from your spirit, your words will match your heart, and your actions will reflect your convictions.

When we walk in love, we are able to deal with people’s weaknesses without tearing them down or exposing them in a harmful way. We restore instead of condemn. Galatians 6:1 says, “If a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” This is what love does—it builds, it heals, it protects.

So, as we live in these last days, let your love be real. Let it be strong. Let it be consistent. Let others see Christ through the way you love.

Read: John 13:35 – “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to walk in sincere and fervent love. Let my love come from the heart and reflect Your nature. Amen.

DILIGENCE PAYS.

Proverbs 12:24
“The hand of the diligent will rule, but the negligent and lazy will be put to forced labour.”

Diligence is a recipe for success in life. Therefore, anyone who wants to make it in life must live by the principles of diligence.

Diligence simply means working carefully and with a lot of effort. This is nothing but hard work. Two key principles stand out in being diligent: working carefully or being meticulous with your work, and working with a lot of effort.

That is to say, it is not just about working, but how you work. As a Christian who is success-bound, you must be intentional about how you approach your work.
Any task you are engaged in must be done with a great sense of care and an attitude of excellence. This is one of the best ways to prevent waste and achieve the best outcomes. You see, when you are careful with your work, your results will always meet the standard that excellence demands.

Secondly, being diligent requires that you work with great effort. Effort involves hard work, serious attempts, or the exertion of physical and mental power. So, diligence must be associated with seriousness, commitment, active attempts to get results, and the use of both strength and mind in an equitable way.

This is why the Bible says the diligent will rule. That means they will lead, be in charge, and stay ahead.

Do not be deceived by the so-called “soft life” mantra that many promote ignorantly. Just practice diligence in all you do. Let it be your lifestyle. Whether you are in ministry, in school, pursuing a career, married or single, or involved in any life engagement, be diligent. Don’t look for an excuse to avoid it. Folks who are not diligent in all these areas of their life will fail now or later.

Be guided in life with this wisdom. Do not be careless in life. Do not live casually or passively—it will cost you, and indeed, it will cost you dearly.

As you go about your activities, give them your best shot. Pay attention to details and aim for excellence. Beyond that, apply your mind and physical energy wisely. Understand that life has no room for laziness or mediocrity.

Read: Proverbs 13:4 “The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.”

Prayer: Lord, I pray for grace to be diligent in all I do, every day of my life. Amen.

FIGHT FOR YOUR PROPHETIC WORD.

1 Timothy 1:18
“Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well.”

As a believer, you are called to actively fight to stay in line with God’s word concerning your life. God’s word, whether received through personal study or spoken by a prophet, is your prophetic word. And if you do nothing with it, nothing will happen.

You see, every prophecy comes with your part to play. Whether God revealed your future to you during prayer, study, or through the mouth of a servant of God, you still have a responsibility to respond with action and faith. Prophetic words are not passive; they are divine instructions and blueprints for your life.

When you receive a word about your future, let it shape how you live today. Your lifestyle, choices, and associations must align with that word. You cannot afford to live in contradiction to what God has declared over your life.

For example, if God has revealed that He wants to use you mightily in His Kingdom, you do not sit back and wait for it to happen on its own. You start preparing by deepening your study of the Word, developing discipline, building character, and connecting with people who can guide and mentor you.

Often, once a great prophetic word is spoken over your life, opposition will arise. Circumstances may come to challenge, delay, or discourage you. That is the point where you rise and fight to protect and fulfill the word over your life. Do not sit idly and allow the enemy or life’s distractions to undo your destiny.

Always remember your prophetic word. Keep it before you, and fight the good fight of faith until it becomes your reality.

Read: 2 Peter 1:19 :”We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to remember, believe, and actively pursue every prophetic word You have spoken over my life.

MEDITATE ON THE WORD.

Joshua 1:8
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

To meditate on God’s Word means to give it focused attention in that, you ‘ponder it deeply, mutter it consistently, and let it dwell richly in your thoughts and speech. Meditation is not a passive act; it is an intentional spiritual discipline that connects your heart and mind to the voice of God.

David understood this and said in Psalm 119:97, “Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.” This was not a casual activity for him—it was his lifestyle.

When you meditate on the Word, you begin to align your thoughts with God’s thoughts. His wisdom, will, and power begin to take root in your inner man. Meditation is how the divine life of the Word becomes part of you, fueling your decisions, shaping your mindset, and strengthening your faith.

Look at how God positioned Joshua for lasting success. He didn’t tell him to rely on human strength or strategy. Instead, He said, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips… meditate on it day and night.” That was the key to prosperity and victory.

Today, many Christians speed-read the Bible without slowing down to reflect and absorb what they’ve read. But without meditation, the Word remains surface-level. Deep change only happens when the Word settles in the heart and reshapes our thinking.

The Apostle Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:15, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” In other words, visible results come from inward reflection.

When you meditate on God’s Word, you receive divine insight, build unshakable faith, and position yourself to do great things in life and ministry. Don’t let your day be filled with distractions and empty pursuits. Let your mind feast on God’s truth.

Make meditation your daily habit. Your growth, success, and spiritual authority depend on it.

Read: Psalm 1:2
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to treasure Your Word and meditate on it daily. Let it shape my thoughts, direct my steps, and produce fruit in every area of my life.

TRUE LIFE IS NOT FOUND IN POSSESSIONS.

Luke 12:15 (NLT)
“Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”

To equate the value of life with material possessions is to greatly underestimate what life truly is. Your worth is not defined by what you own, and your life cannot be sustained by physical wealth. Material things like money, properties, and status have no power to give or preserve life.

Let this truth settle in your heart: your life is not in your possessions. If all your energy is spent chasing material gain while ignoring your relationship with God, you are investing in vanity. Proverbs 11:4 says “Riches won’t help on the Day of Judgment, but right living can save you from death.”

You see, don’t be deceived into thinking that money equals life. People with this wrong mindset chase wealth at any cost which is often through immoral or reckless means, believing that money is the ultimate goal. But as a Christian, your perspective must be different. Money is not your master. God is. Jesus plainly warned, “A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” (Luke 12:15) In other words, your identity and fulfillment are not tied to what you accumulate.
Rather than chasing worthless pursuits, pursue God. “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

As a Christian, you must learn to prosper the right way. Real prosperity comes from the Lord. Put God first. Walk by faith. Obey His Word. When you do, you’ll find that everything you truly need will come—not by stress or compromise, but by grace and divine alignment.

Read: Luke 12:15 Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.

Prayer: Lord, help me to seek You above all else and never place my trust in possessions.
